At Rooted Together - Your Village Awaits, we believe education is a fundamental right. Leroy, better known as Mass Johney believed in education, being one of the most powerful tools. Through his legacy - our mission is to empower children, youth, and young adults in St. Thomas, Jamaica, and ACB Newcomers to Canada through community-supported educational opportunities—one donation at a time through this fund. Providing essential services like educational workshops, mental health support, school uniform and fees assistance, and educational materials, nurturing a safe space for learning and growth.
Cancellation Policy
We value the trust our donors place in us and are dedicated to using contributions in furtherance of our mission and programs. All donations received will be used to support the mission, programs, and operational needs of the organization. Unrestricted Donations: Funds may be allocated where they are most needed to fulfill our objectives. Restricted Donations (Donations to RTYVA services delivery & services users in need and Education Fund) : If a donor specifies a purpose - between the ones mentions above, we will make every reasonable effort to use the donation as directed. If the specified purpose becomes impractical, impossible, or obsolete, the funds may be redirected to a similar initiative consistent with our mission. All donations are final and non-refundable. By making a donation, you acknowledge and agree that: 1) Donations are voluntary and made without expectation of goods or services unless explicitly stated. 2) You will not request a chargeback or reversal of a completed donation. 3) It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of donation amounts and payment details before submitting your contribution.
